CT AHEC Network AmeriCorps
Connecticut AHEC Network AmeriCorps engages AmeriCorps members who work on projects that strengthen Connecticut’s communities by improving the lives of economically disadvantaged students. The four regional centers of the Connecticut AHEC Network host 14 full-time AmeriCorps members.
Connecticut AHEC Network AmeriCorps engage middle and high school students in the Youth Health Service Corps (YHSC) and college students in the Collegiate Health Service Corps (CHSC) leading students in service learning projects that address pressing community health issues.
The CT AHEC Network AmeriCorps Program is made possible by a grant from the Connecticut Commission on Community Service and the CT AHEC Network is a proud member of the AmeriCorps National Service Network.

2019 Highlights
Serve as an
AmeriCorps Member
AmeriCorps members make a 1700 hour full-time service commitment. AmeriCorps members serve at middle schools, high schools and colleges and universities working with economically disadvantaged students who are interested in pursuing a health care career.

Once you have been offered a position at one of our CT host sites, all members will review and complete the MHFA Corps Enrollment Packet with the AmeriCorps Program Director.

Currently the 4 Connecticut AHEC centers serve as AmeriCorps members host sites. Health360 is seeking other community based agencies, including secondary schools and universities to serve as an AmeriCorps member host site.Call or email me for more information
